Nearly 300 miles away, President Donald Trump's military parade—which coincides with the president's 79th birthday—will move through central Washington at 6:30 p.m. The parade is set to include an outlandish display of military might.
This morning, protestors nationwide took to the streets to demonstrate against the president amidst thunderstorms and despite looming police presence.
On Saturday June 14, I attended the Patchogue "No Kings Day" rally and learned why people of all ages were protesting Donald Trump's presidency. Popular words were "narcissist," "despicable," and "cruel." See their faces and hear their voices.
